Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whether you browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion settings.

What we aim for

We design and build this site targeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is our working target rather than a certified audit result, and we treat any barrier you report as a bug to fix.

What we have built in

  • a "Skip to main content" link as the first item for keyboard users;
  • semantic headings, landmarks and labelled navigation regions;
  • a clearly visible focus outline on every interactive element;
  • full keyboard operation, including the mobile navigation menu;
  • colour combinations chosen to meet AA contrast for text and interface elements;
  • meaningful alternative text on images that carry information;
  • respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system, which switches off non-essential animation and smooth scrolling;
  • responsive layouts that reflow down to small screens and support zoom to 200%.

Known limitations

Typefaces are loaded from a third-party font service; if that request is blocked, the site falls back to your system fonts, which may change the appearance slightly. Some photography is decorative in context and is described briefly rather than in detail.

Contacting us in an accessible way

We deliberately do not use online forms. Every enquiry is a plain email to our enquiries inbox, which works well with assistive technology. If you need information from this site in another format, or need adjustments during a recruitment process, tell us and we will arrange it.

Tell us about a problem

Email our enquiries inbox with "Accessibility" in the subject line, describing the page and what went wrong. We will confirm receipt and let you know what we can do.
